Ruso collaborated with Heinrich Boell Foundation’s Feminism and Gender Democracy Office in Tbilisi to create illustrations for their new website. The Office focuses on the regions of the South Caucasus and promotes gender equality, democracy, human rights, and social and environmental justice in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The illustrations were created as cover images for different topics on the website. The images were supposed to reflect the local traditions, Soviet past, ethnic and cultural specifics, and familiar environments. The finished illustrations were animated by a Georgian animator Giorgi Korganov.
