Over a period of two years (2024-2025), Ruso worked closely with Women’s Fund Georgia, a non-profit organization that empowered women and the LGBTQ+ community by providing resources and funds for their projects. Ruso’s works were used for illustrating the Fund’s open calls for various grants, as well as public annual reports outlining their previous successful projects, grantees, and various achievements.

The illustrations for the Grant are ethnical in nature, using traditional imagery and clothing as a language to help make the grant feel accessible to communities that are less exposed to working with non-profits. The series of two dozen illustrations for the annual reports is quick and simple, and is meant to be used as chapter markers for each topic of the report, from reproductive rights to feminist movements to domestic violence prevention programs.

The Women’s Fund closed its doors because of facing massive financial and legal challenges after the Georgian government introduced repressive measures and silenced non-profits that supported minorities across the country.
